The Bayside is a farm-based garden centre and florist shop offering top quality plants, florist services, seasonal products and giftware. It is based in the beautiful village of Whycocomagh, which is situated at the head of the Bras D’Or Lakes on Cape Breton Island in Nova Scotia.

The Bayside opened its doors for business as a garden centre and café in the spring of 2004. Since that time, we have continued to develop our business to serve the needs of our customers by providing:

The Bayside is owned and operated by husband & wife team of Gerald Jackson and Marilyn MacDonald – both are native Cape Bretoners with a strong devotion to their community. They are developing this business because they wish to stay in their community and contribute to the economy of their community while creating a business that they both greatly enjoy.
We are located at 9657 Trans Canada Highway in the Village of Whycocomagh (across from the Royal Canadian Legion).
